Emergency Services

Our prayers and best wishes are with Karin J. and her family as she undergoes surgery at the Marshfield Clinic. Karin started with us on Monday but developed a severe headache on Wednesday. Taylor County EMTs met the bus and took her to Medford Hospital, where she was flown to Marshfield. Although this was a terrible way to learn about the depth of emergency medical services in rural central Wisconsin, our deep appreciation goes to all the first responders, the staff in Medford, and to Taylor County Sheriff Daniels who personally drove me into the next county to reunite with the motor coach. As Karin’s doctor in Medford said, “You wouldn’t get that in a big town!”
